Reports
AcademicVoice turns a student's recorded activity on this iPad into reports you can print, save, or share. Reports are a Pro · AAC · Clinician feature; the School edition views progress on-device (Teacher Dashboard and Data & Logs) but does not generate report files.

1. Where reports live
Open the board's clinician area (the stethoscope button) — on Pro and AAC, enter your staff PIN; the Clinician edition opens it directly — then choose Reports & Export on the Dashboard. Pick a report and one of the preset date ranges, and tap generate. The report becomes a PDF you can save to Files, print, AirDrop, or email — sharing is always something you start; the app never sends a report anywhere on its own.

3. The IEP Goal Progress report, step by step
- First, the goal must exist: goal setup is a Clinician-edition tool (inside SLP Fluency), so ask the student's clinician to set the goal statement, the minimum words per message, and the target percentage.
- Then generate the report from Reports & Export for any preset date range.
- You'll see: the goal and its criterion, total opportunities, how many met the goal, the percentage against the target, whether the trend is improving — and a day-by-day table.
If no goal has been set up, the report says so. If the date range has no recorded communication, it says that too.
4. Good habits
- Pick the preset range that matches the question. "How was this quarter?" needs the longer preset, not a week.
- Reports are snapshots — regenerate after new sessions rather than reusing an old PDF.
- Summary reports show the actual counts for the range you pick — including zeros when a quiet period really had no communication. The IEP and time-of-day reports say plainly when a period has no data.
- A report is a conversation starter for the student's team, not a verdict. The student's clinician interprets what the numbers mean.
